Hello. Had a long and busy week.
At work the other day, I was asked to take control of a project entitled "I am Fairfield." It is a 30 second commercial I will be producing, shooting, editing - the works. I will be going around school to film the different clubs, activities and people. I am really excited to start working on it. It will be shown during the sports broadcasts and eventually will hopefully be shown on Connecticut TV.
Today was another day of shooting. This weekend, we didn't have rain which was much better. It is getting really cold here though, so thank goodness I bundled up. The movie is coming out great. Today was difficult with a lot of scenes, and we didn't get to complete as many as we wanted. But what we did get done, looks excellent. The actors are great and the two directors are known to be the two top students in the New Media program. Here are some pictures I took from today:
This is practicing a blood scene on a tree, instead of on the actor. It took about 20 takes.
This is one of the actors, Svend. He is Albania and plays one of the guards in the movie.
From left to right: Actor, Dennis (Director), and Victoria (a freshmen who is "script supervisor."
This is one of the cinematographers holding the steadicam. Pretty great equipment.
Dennis (Director) using the stedicam practicing his shot.
Another Actor who got a free train ride from New York City because of his costume.
That's all for now!
Time to finish my laundry. Goodnight.
